The Seed Project
THE SEED PROJECT PODCAST
What if the smallest thought you think today could change the direction of your life and someone else's?
Every thought you think, every word you speak, every action you take plants a seed in yourself and those around you.
The Seed Project is a personal growth podcast hosted by Charlotte P. Edwards, a registered nurse and board-certified holistic nurse coach, sitting at the intersection of mindset, neuroscience, and faith. Each episode is an honest look at how your thought life, your words, and your daily choices shape your health, your relationships, and the people around you, often in ways you don't see coming.
This is not a show about having it all together. It's about understanding that small, consistent change is the most powerful kind there is, and that who you're becoming matters beyond just you.
Science and faith are not opposites here. They're companions.

Hey, friend. Welcome to Send a Seed. I'm Charlotte Edwards, and I believe small seeds create big impact. Each week, we'll plant one. Let's dig in. This weekend, I had the privilege of flying to my brother's residency graduation. A few years ago, I actually had him on The Seed Project. We talked about his journey to becoming a doctor and the perseverance it took him to get there. If you haven't heard the conversation, go back and listen. It's a great story. But this weekend wasn't about the journey. It was about the moment. As I sat there listening to the speeches and watching these doctors walk across the stage, I found myself overwhelmed with gratitude, not because of something I had accomplished, because of something he had. Now, don't get me wrong, graduating from your medical residency is an incredible achievement. Years of studying, long hours, sacrifice, persistence, the kind of commitment most people can't fully appreciate unless they've lived it. But what moved me most wasn't watching him on the stage. It wasn't the letters after his name. It wasn't even the ceremony itself. It was the people. Throughout the weekend, I met his friends, coworkers, fellow residents, and attending physicians. And over and over again, they told stories, stories about his character, his kindness, his work ethic, his sense of humor, and the way he cares for his patients, the way he shows up for his team, and the way people trust him. And as I sat there and listened, I found myself thinking the same thing over and over You have found your place, your people, and the work you're meant to do. And as his sister, that meant everything. My eyes welled up with tears because I've known who he is and his heart and how hard he has worked for this, and there's something incredibly special about seeing him through the eyes of the people whose lives he touches every day Sometimes the greatest joy isn't found in our own accomplishments. It's found in having a front row seat in someone else's becoming. Watching a dream become a reality, watching years of hard work pay off, someone you love become exactly who they're meant to be. And that's the kind of joy we don't talk about enough We spend so much of our lives focused on our own next goal, next challenge, our next mountain to climb That we forget to stop and celebrate the incredible people around us. The friend who's building a business, a spouse pursuing a dream The child finding their confidence, a sibling discovering where they belong, your neighbor quietly overcoming something hard. There's so much goodness happening around us if we simply pay attention. And that's why celebrations matter. Not because we're celebrating one moment. We're celebrating all the ordinary moments that came before it. The days nobody saw, the sacrifices nobody applauded, the time someone wanted to quit but kept going anyway. A graduation, a promotion, a milestone, a victory. These moments aren't really about a single day. Faithfulness finally becoming visible. Here's the seed I'm planting this week. Be generous with your applause. Don't rush past someone else's victory. Celebrate it. Cheer loudly. Send the text. Make a call. Be the cheerleader. One of the greatest gifts we can give another human being is letting them know that we see them, we're proud of them, and their hard work matters. This week, think about someone you're cheering for and tell them not someday, today. Tell them you admire them, you appreciate them, and you're proud of them. You never know how much strength a few encouraging words can give someone who's still climbing That's your seed. Now go plant something good
